My dog had passed away from cancer a week ago on the weekend. My own vet wasn't available. I called Lakeside Veterinary clinic. They were very kind and sincere. They offered cremation services. Becky was so helpful giving directions to clinic. She personally came out to get my dear pet. She gave me some time to say goodbye to my dog. They seem to be so understanding. I will be going back Wednesday to get my dogs ashes and a clay paw print they had made for me. I would recommend their services to anyone.

Have taken my dogs there for numerous reasons. Everyone is always so nice and professional. Even when my pets have been displaying symptoms they will discuss it with me over the phone even if I don't end up going in and are very honest and straight forward. Had a dog put to rest here last year and they were very comforting. Just today our senior hamster was obviously suffering so we called to see if they could help to put her to sleep and she died while we were there before they performed the euthanasia and they didn't charge and still gave us a little clay disc with her name and footprint. Can't say enough good things and feel very lucky to have this so close to home.

We had an amazing experience here. Our little girl had to be put down and they were so supportive and even gave me a paw print stone to remember her. A week later I received a card with their condolences. Amazing staff and they actually care about you regardless if you're a forever patient or.one time.

My 13 yr old boxer bassist mix had her first seizure I'm in the medical field so I sat with her kept her safe and comfort her well as the 1st one came and went her last one was a bad one and my vet suggested this place we're about a hour away we loaded her up and got there as fast as we could ... we get there and they immediately came out to get her and another with concent forms then a nurse called us immediately to let us know about her and told us what she thought.. she was very informative and sensitive about our baby.. we had to make a tough decision and she was kind enough to let us call her back while we discuss it.. we made a heartbreaking decision and I asked if we or 1 of us can be with her while it happens they were wonderful and giving me time and privacy with her.. they made sure she went peaceful no pain.. they made us a paw print of her paw they were really nice and sensitive with us and our baby .. I would recommend them to help with your baby(s)

We had an emergency with our 15 year old pup!! We were so concerned, but the moment we arrived they took over, started helping her, caring for her, loving on her, giving her meds, performed a small surgery & all in all took amazing care of her!!!! This was our first visit with them since we have a vet in our hometown, who actually sent us to Lakeside for said emergency!! Our Gracie made a full recovery within a day or two, bcuz of this place & the people that work there!! Lastly, not only were they amazing & loving to my pup, but also to me!!

FABULOUS team at Lakeside! We were traveling through and our Chihuahua got sick. Googled places near us and after calling around was referred to Lakeside. Called in advance and once we arrived they were able to take her right in. Since they are operating on curbside only, they called us several times while she was inside and gave us updates along the way. Everything was clearly explained to us, they gave us paperwork to take that explained everything that they did that could be shared with her primary vet. Since we are traveling they even provided referrals for other vets. I cannot say enough about how happy we are with our experience. Every staff member we came in contact with or talked to was amazing. If we were locals, we would definitely be back. Thank you all so much!

We've taken all of our cats, as well as a few strays, here or to their sister clinic in Herrin for care and emergencies for the 4 years we've lived here. We've always been treated with respect, and felt taken care of. They take care credit, which is the only way we could have afforded most of our pets' care. They have even handed us coupons towards our prescriptions and worked within our schedules with the drop off options. It's available 24 hours, and some one is always there. Honestly, yes, the are cheaper places to go, but I'll stick with this team , as I have seen them do everything in their power to help my furbabes out.

My experience at this emergency vet was everything I could ask for. My dog is very nervous around vets and I don't think I could've asked for a more patient and caring staff. The Vet explained everything in detail and was extremely kind. If I ever need emergency services again for my pet I will be returning here.

I needed to get my puppy checked out for something urgently. I called my usual vet and they couldn't get me in for 2 weeks. I got in right away at Lakeside, it didn't take more than a 1/2 an hour for everything to get checked out. The doctors and nurses were informative and helpful. Highly recommend!
